Find a Birth Parent or Child

Children and parents involved in adoption sometimes try to find each other after a period of time. The Adoption Search Program at D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s helps adult adoptees and birth parents searching for background information and/or each other.

The Agency received 105 inquiries about the adoption search process:

● 31 inquirers requested search support services:
● 8 searches resulted in reunions
● 11 inquirers were provided with Confidential Intermediary Services approved by the Circuit Court’s Family Division which resulted in
● 8 confidential reunions
